Facing the same thing….

by: Baby Moo on Fri, Apr 04 2008

I had my first flare of this disease less than a month after I retired. Just this past weekend, I had to be hospitalized due to a terrible attack. The pain was horrible, and I was nauseated beyond what words can describe. I have appointments with my gastro physician and surgeon this week.

I live in a small town and the physicians on call all said the diseased bowel needed to be removed for the attacks do get worse and with each attack more healthy bowel is effected. I am very scared about it all, but I cannot see myself living with this pain. I hurt as I write this. It is a horrible disease.
