To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Pain on the mid-top of my foot with severe swelling I do alot of distance running. One morning during my run I felt a severe pain in the middle of my foot, on the top. I could not walk and it was very swollen. The doctor x-rayed it, but found nothing. He put me on ibuprofen as needed, and to follow the rules of R.I.C.E. It is now 2 weeks later and although it is somewhat better, by the end of the day my foot is very swollen. I am able to ride a bike with no pain, however walking is still painful, especially at days end. I can pinpoint the pain to be between the middle and 4th toe about 2cm below the bottom of the toes. Any ideas? Comments
