my ra ordeal started with pain and swelling in my left knee didnt do anything about it as it was not to bad but within 6 to 8 weeks i had pain and swelling in both knees,wrists,6 fingers feet ,neck and shoulders went to gp did blood test to confirm ra refered to a brilliant rheumatologist who promised me he would get me back to good health (by this stage i could not work, dress myself and had no energy)

first i was put on steroids and methatrexate but continued to worsen then i was put on humira and steroids still no improvement now on rutriximad and steroids and life is back to 90% of what it was. This took about 10 months to get the combination of drugs i know they all have their own side affects but I am just so greatful to have my life back.I went through 10 months with very dark moments but dont give up new medications are fantastic you just need to find the right ones for you. Stay positive and good luck.
